So, I finally got around to building a real website. Information about the Pancakeinator Project will be posted to my new site JoshuaKonstantinos.com
So I got permission to design components of my pancakinator for my mechanical design class!! Right now I'm working on a belt drive - very excited! I'm looking at using a motorized beltdrive (above left)
Hello Sorry I haven't updated for a while - it's finals week! Also I've run out of money for components and such...but I have a plan 1. Right now I am working on completely designing the machine in solid works. 2. Once I have the design finished - hopefully I will finish the design over spring break - I will buy metal sheeting for the structural aspects of the machine 3. Using my design files from solidworks, and the CNC machine at school I have have pieces I need cut for me 4 purchase reaming components ( rollers, bearings, I have to make this silicone part, etc. then assemble and starting working on the electronics Lastly - coding Here is how my solidworks design is going to far!
My motor couplings arrived from China today! And it works nicely - except I noticed that my h-bridge chip is over heating so I have to buy an attachable heaetsink for the chip... Finally got the stepper moter working - the MShield was lot easier to use than the grlbshield So I wanted to be able to tell if the pancakeinator was out of water or pancake mix. Decided to use a trip laser system to do that. Laser on one side of a food storage container photo resistor on the other. If the laser is blocked by flour we know there is still flour left in the system. If, however, the container is empty and the photoresistor senc
Talked to my professors and got permission - finally printing my 3D part!
